Ostraca Arts & Development announces the organization of the event “HERE CAIRO,” taking place from March 20 to 30, 2027, in Cairo. The event is open to Egyptian, Arab, and international artists, bringing together the visual arts, cinema, and music. The State of Palestine serves as the guest of honor at the exhibition—a celebration of Palestinian art in all its forms, in recognition of its contributions to the Arab and global cultural landscape, its role in expressing identity and preserving memory and heritage, and its embodiment of the values of life, hope, and belonging.

The event highlights Palestinian art through the visual and fine arts, sculpture, cinema, and music, showcasing the diversity of Palestinian creative endeavors and providing a space for artistic exchange and connection between Palestinian artists and their peers from Egypt and across the globe.

Drawing inspiration from the spirit, history, and cultural presence of Cairo, "Here is Cairo" ("Huna Al-Qahira") offers a space where artists from various generations, schools, and cultures can converge. It is a venue where artistic experiences coexist, fostering a dialogue with the public about art and its profound relationship with humanity and place.

The event invites participation across a wide spectrum of fine and visual arts—including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, graphic arts, photography, installation art, and mixed media—as well as submissions in cinema and music, subject to the specific nature of each entry and the established organizational and technical requirements.

Through this event, Ostraca aims to strengthen connections between Egyptian artists and their international counterparts, provide a platform for showcasing contemporary work, and encourage interaction between the visual arts, cinema, and music as part of a diverse cultural program.

This initiative is a continuation of Ostraca’s ongoing work in organizing international art exhibitions, forums, and events—connecting creativity with place and building bridges for cultural and artistic exchange. The company invites artists interested in participating to submit their work and proposals for consideration within the program. Further details regarding organizational arrangements, submission procedures, and the program itself will be announced in due course via Ostraca’s official channels.

All submissions are subject to the terms, conditions, and rules governing participation, as well as the established procedures for selection and technical or organizational approval.
