"Stages" (Marahil) – an exhibition by artist Magdy Othman, opening on Sunday, October 4th. Artistic boldness defines the works of Magdy Othman. This boldness in subject matter is matched by a daring approach to composition—a style that frequently eschews traditional symmetry. Instead, Othman presents alternative arrangements that draw the viewer’s eye toward a specific side of the canvas, or to a particular focal point that holds the key to the work’s overall composition. The exhibition will run until October 20th.
